Glass fabric and non-woven adhesive from PUFAS for woodchip, non-woven wallpaper, glass fabric

The Glass fabric and non-woven adhesive from PUFAS has very high moisture resistance, is ideal for paintable wall coverings and is easy to correct. The best adhesive strength of the adhesive is ideal for new plaster, old plaster, plasterboard. In addition, this is ideal for wallpapering and wall pasting technology. The adhesive can be used after only about 15 minutes.

Processing:

Firstly, the surface must be free of old wallpaper, poorly adhering paints and distempers and free of release agents, dry and stable. If necessary, repair cracks, holes and bumps with a filler. If the substrate is highly absorbent, chalking or sandy, it should be pre-treated with Tiefengrund. The glue is now sprinkled into the cold, clean water while stirring vigorously and stirred for a short time, and then stirred vigorously again after 15 minutes. The adhesive is then evenly applied to the back of the wallpaper with the wallpapering tool or a brush and finally glued. Wallpapers that do not require a softening time can also be processed using the wall-pasting technique. To do this, the adhesive is applied to the substrate with the spray gun or a short-pile lambskin roller in the width of the strip.  Place the wallpaper in the wet adhesive bed on the wall and press down evenly with a roller (foam rubber roller) or wallpaper wiper. If there are any adhesive residues, wash them off with clear water and wipe with a dry cloth. 

The processing instructions must be observed.

Batch Ratio:

  • When pre-pasting, a ratio of 1:20 with a water quantity of 20L per pack is used, this is enough for about 140 m².
  • For woodchip, a water quantity of 11L is enough 1:11 ratio used. One pack is enough for approx. 60 m².
  • Renovation and reinforcement non-woven, embossed non-woven and heavy wall coverings are used at a ratio of 1:10 with 10 liters of water. The pack is sufficient for approx. 50 m².
  • When using glass fabric, a water volume of 8L with a ratio of 1:8 is used. The pack is sufficient for about 45 m².
  • Type of product: Glass fabric and non-woven adhesive for woodchip, renovation and reinforcement non-woven, universal non-woven for painters, woodchip, non-woven wallpaper, heavy wall coverings and glass fabric (laminated and unlaminated).
