Renovation Filler R40 extreme with excellent adhesion from Pufas is a white, fine filler based on special cement for safe application on critical interior substrates (surface qualities Q1 - Q4 in drywall construction). The filler can be used to repair, smooth and coat wall and ceiling surfaces. It is ideal for filling over the entire surface of emulsion paint coats, glass fabric wallpaper, synthetic resin textured plasters, oil plinths, glazed tiles and similar non-absorbent substrates. However, the filler is also suitable for filling work on mineral substrates (concrete, gypsum, lime and cement plaster, aerated concrete, bricks) or for closing joints in filigree and prefabricated ceilings as well as for filling plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard and cement fibreboard. The highly synthetic resin-modified filler can also be used in damp rooms. The filled surface is water vapour permeable, sets without cracks and with low tension and forms an ideal base for all subsequent wallpapering, plastering and painting work. In addition, the fibre-reinforced filler can be easily smoothed or felted (can be pulled out to zero for seamless filling) and is excellent for sanding after drying.
The substrate must be dry, sound and free of separating agents (dust, formwork oil, etc.). Remove poorly adhering paints, elastic coatings and loose plaster. Prime highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates and sanded surfaces with deep penetrating primer. Thoroughly clean and degrease ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware and oil plinths with leaching agent.
Process the prepared levelling compound within 40 minutes. The levelling compound can be smoothed out easily and simply or felted with a felt or sponge board. After drying (approx. 12 - 24 hours - depending on the substrate and room temperature), the levelled surfaces are excellent for sanding. For optimum sanding results, we recommend using a sanding grid or mesh at slow to medium speeds and low pressure.
Application ratio:
Sprinkle 2 parts of pufaplast Renovier-Spachtel R 40 into 1 part of cold, clean water (e.g. 1 kg of filler in 500 ml of water) and mix. Stir vigorously to produce a lump-free mortar.
Consumption:
1 kg powder per 1 m² at 1 mm application thickness
Caution! Causes severe eye irritation. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid inhalation of dust. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If medical advice is required, have packaging or identification label ready. Dispose of contents/container to waste disposal according to local/regional/national regulations.
