The silicone resin facade paint from Baufan combines the advantages of an emulsion paint and a classic silicate paint. It is rain-repellent with a beading effect, offers long-term protection against algae and green growth and convinces with a very high opacity. You can also tint or dilute the paint with water and it is suitable for application with an airless paint sprayer. The facade paint can be applied to all mineral substrates such as concrete, masonry, cement, etc. The container size is 10 L. The paint should be well sealed and stored in a cool, but frost-free place. You can find the best before date on the batch label.
Before you start painting, you should make sure that the surface to be painted is dry, clean, stable and absorbent, and is free of dust and grease. Cracks, holes and bumps should be repaired beforehand with a suitable filler, and loose material and poorly adhering paint should be removed beforehand. Prime highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates beforehand. New base plasters must harden for at least 14 days before being coated with the facade paint. The paint must be stirred well before use and can be applied with a roller, a brush, a brush, a flat brush or a suitable spray device. A base coat and top coat can be applied diluted with max. 10% water. The layers should dry for at least 12 hours between applications. The paint should not be used in direct sunlight, strong winds or risk of rain. In order to avoid streaks when coating larger areas, work wet in wet. The tools should be cleaned with water after use.
