Latex Satin from Herbol is a semi-gloss latex paint that is particularly suitable for use on surfaces subject to heavy wear. Once dry, the paint is scrub-resistant and resistant to diluted acids, alkalis and standard household cleaning agents. Latex Satin is also resistant to disinfectants, has a low odour and is solvent-free. The latex paint is characterised by its high durability and is particularly suitable for interior surfaces subject to normal wear and tear.
The substrate must be firm, clean, stable, dry and free from efflorescence, fungal infestation, layers of powdery grain, sintered layers and separating agents. In the case of soiling such as soot or chalking components, the substrate must be cleaned beforehand. If present, repair defects, holes or damage with a suitable filler. A primer coat can be applied diluted with a maximum of 5% water. In the case of a particularly high-contrast, highly or differently absorbent substrate, an additional intermediate coat should be applied diluted with a maximum of 10% water. A rich, even top coat can be applied diluted with a maximum of 5 - 10% water. The paint can be applied with a brush, a paint roller or an airless sprayer.
