Normal or special pastes are used for wallpapering paper wallpaper. As it does not contain any dispersion components, it prevents heavy stains from forming on the wall. Due to its good processing properties, it is therefore particularly suitable and applicable for paper wallpaper.
To wallpaper paper wallpaper correctly, the strips must always be pasted and the wall gluing technique cannot be used. It should be noted that a soaking time is essential and should be strictly adhered to. In addition, the paper wallpaper must be laid slightly on top of each other so that the paste does not evaporate and the strips can be stuck on properly. For an optimal result, all windows should remain closed so that the wallpaper with the paste can dry on the wall.
For non-woven backing, special non-woven pastes (roll pastes) are used instead. These have the advantage that they can be applied to both the wallpaper and the wall. Therefore, the wall bonding technique is the appropriate choice, as the paste does not dry too quickly. In addition, the wallpaper can be stripped completely dry again if the substrate has been carefully prepared and the correct paste has been used.
There are different ways to use this type of paste. You can use a paste brush to apply the paste or alternatively a paste roller. Both variants are well suited, so the decision which tool is the best must always be made individually. The advantage is that the roller paste can be applied directly to the wall. With this technique, the wall is pasted evenly and after application, the cut strips of wallpaper are glued to the wall without soaking time and with butt joints. Then the non-woven wallpaper is moved to the correct position and can then be pressed on with a wallpapering roller without bubbles.
On the packaging you will find printed instructions on how to mix the paste.
